USITA TEAMS- THIS IS EXCITING

On May 25th there will be a draft to select teams for USITA. After the draft, the first tournament will be held to start the team standings. After all current USITA members have been drafted, USITA Captains will draft non-USITA players to be a part of their teams. These non-USITA players will be eligible to play in the USITA qualifying tournaments and help accumulate points for their teams. Non-UISTA members points will have a different value than USITA members. This is going to be very exciting. I am not sure what it may lead to but you should become part of our inaugural season. If you have questions or comments, reply here at the form or e-mail me directly at info@usitagames.com.

THis is great and it would be neat to post the standings in the forum every second week so we know how far behind we are and might trigger more interest. How aobut something like the 1st and 15th of every month showing the team standings. TY

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
