What do we do about a player who harasses other players?
You have two options for players who are problems

You always have a couple of options Buttegal, and this is a great question. I'm sure other players wonder what to do too.
A player can always mute another player in the tourney room or the main hall by typing the following command / players name exactly as shown, i.e. / PlayerName. If the name is capitalized, you must type it that way. Exactly as you see it. However, once the player leaves the room, he becomes unmuted and if he returns, he will still be unmuted. You would have to do it again.
If the problem continues, you can ALWAYS send a contact us to the Webmasters asking them to check the chat to see if the player should be permanently muted. The Webs have the power to do that. Some players become AUTOMATICALLY permanently muted if they continue to use bad, foul or offensive language. The computer will pick that up and mute them. The player will then have to send a contact us asking to have their ability to chat restored.
Hope that helps you and anyone else who might have the same problem with an offensive player.
Good luck and have fun, remember that is what we are all about!
In a world where you can be anything .... BE KIND!

At GameColony.com you can play games of skill only -- play for free or play for $prizes!.
According to the statutes of most states in the United States, gambling is defined as: "risking something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance". (Also see No Gambling!). The skill (as opposed to chance) is predominant in games of skill. Playing games of skill for $prizes, therefore, has nothing to do with gambling as it is not a contest of chance -- the more skillful player will win far more often. The chance element of a 'gamble' is either insignificant or missing. When players compete in tournaments or games of skill for $prizes -- it is "competitive entertainment" rather then "gambling". The more skilled winner will always win more matches, tournaments and $prizes.
